Dawa Nuru Sherpa in Ottawa
Dawa Nuru Sherpa came all the way from his small village in Nepal to visit us. We went to the top of Mount Everest together. We had a very nice dinner organized in his honor and to raise funds for CHEO and CSSS. In the picture from the right is Meghan McGrath, Jean Ricard, Dawa and I. I brought Dawa to see for the first time his holiness the Dalai Lama. He was pretty excited about that. |
